Morgan Wallen is celebrating Father’s Day with a heartfelt post to his father, Tommy, and his 1-year-old son, Indigo (Indie) Wilder Wallen.

On Sunday evening (June 19), the East Tennessee and “Wasted On You” singer took to social media to honor his dad and express how thankful he is for his son.

Wallen’s Instagram post included two photos and one video alongside a heartfelt caption.

The first photo shows him and his son walking through a wooded area, and the second is a picture of him and his father. The video in the series features Wallen holding Indie in an entryway to a house while Indie giggles at his dad as he bounces him in his arms.

“Happy Father’s Day to my dad and to all you dads out there raising up good ole boys and girls,” Wallen captioned the post.

He went on to share his gratitude over the opportunity to be a father to little Indie.

“And to my son, I thank God everyday he granted me with the blessing of being your daddy!!!” Wallen wrote.

Indie’s mom and Wallen’s his former fiancée, KT Smith, also wished Wallen a Happy Father’s Day on her social media on Sunday, June 19.

“Happy Father’s Day Mo,” Smith wrote in her Instagram stories. ”Happy we can coparent the way we do even when we wanna rip each other’s heads off. Couldn’t have done this without ya.”

Wallen and Smith share custody of Indigo Wilder, who was born on July 10, 2020. He’s the first child for both Wallen and Smith.

“[Co-parenting is] good, I got no complaints,” Wallen said. “I was worried about it at first, but I feel very comfortable with it and I’m really proud of the way me and his mom handle it,” he told Entertainment Tonight during a recent interview.

He also told the outlet what he enjoys most about being a father.

“I think seeing him get a personality,” Wallen said. “He’s starting to get where I tell him no and he just kind of looks at me… I know it’s about to get worse, but I like it.”

Indie will soon celebrate his second birthday and Wallen also told the outlet that he is preparing to host his second birthday party “in a few weeks.”

Additionally, Morgan Wallen is currently in the midst of his massive The Dangerous Tour in support of the project. The tour, which is the biggest country tour of 2022 and runs through October, recently sold-out with over 800,000 tickets sold, according to Up2DateCountry.

In addition to HARDY and Larry Fleet, the country hitmaker recently added Lainey Wilson, Kameron Marlowe, Chase Rice, Ian Munsick, and ERNEST to his sold-out tour lineup.

The singer also announced his first-ever Stadium show in Arlington, Texas, at Globe Life Field on October 8, 2022, with special guests HARDY, Mike Ryan and Jake Worthington.
