Morgan Wallen celebrates his 28th Birthday on Thursday, May 13 and to celebrate he shared a photo alongside his sister Ashlyne and his friend Andrew Greene.

Late Wednesday, May 12 evening the country superstar shared an image with two people who he says stuck by him through thick and thin. In the caption of the image, he explained that although 27 brought out both the best and worst times of his life, Ashlyne and Andrew never left his side. He also admitted that he is honestly glad to see 28.

“27 brought a lot of the best and the worst times of my life,” Wallen captioned the photo. “These 2 didn’t flinch. Glad to see 28.”

Throughout all of the controversy surrounding Wallen’s name throughout 2021 so far, Wallen says his sister Ashlyne and his friend Andrew never flinched or left his side.

Earlier this year, his sister Ashlyne shared a statement admitting Wallen’s use of racial slur “did not come from a place of hate or malicious intent” as she knows her brother “has the biggest heart of anyone” that she’s ever met. She also acknowledged that although he shouldn’t have said what he said, he does deserve forgiveness as people make mistakes.

“It doesn’t matter who you are or where you are from, he will welcome you with open arms and show you kindness,” Ashlyne previously explained. “He is not the kind of person who would ever want to hurt anyone, but contrary to popular belief, he’s also human. And sometimes, human make big mistakes.”

Additionally, over the course of the last few weeks, Wallen has been pretty active throughout social media sharing photos and Instagram stories, including one fishing with his musical hero Eric Church and others hanging out with his friend Ernest.

Happy 28th Birthday Morgan Wallen!
