Miley Cyrus, Sia and Paris Hilton joined forces for an epic collaboration during Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party on Saturday evening (Dec. 31) as the trio of superstar rang in the New Year in Miami, Florida.
Cyrus, Sia and Hilton performed the new version of Paris Hilton’s 2006 hit single “Stars Are Blind,” which she recently released as the first part of “brand new music” Hilton has coming out in 2023.
The performance began as Cyrus sang the opening verse to the iconic Hilton tune. Sia later joined her to add her stunning vocals to the tune, wearing a massive bow on top of her black and white wig.
“Even though the Gods are crazy / Even though the stars are blind / If you show me real love, baby, I’ll show you mine,” Cyrus and Sia sang.
The pair of superstars then surprised the audience as Sia shouted, “Ready for this?!” Hilton then emerged from the shadows of the stage background to join them for the final verse of the track.
“It’s Paris Hilton,” Sia exclaimed as the concluded their performance. “That’s hot! Keep sliving! Happy New Year, bitches!” Paris said before exiting the stage.
Hilton first announced and released “Stars Are Blind (Paris’ Version)” on Friday (Dec. 30) via Instagram.
“Surprise!🥳 I just dropped an updated version of “Stars Are Blind (Paris’ Version),” Hilton wrote on social media. “This song has always meant so much to me, it felt right to close out 2022 with a refreshed version… Thank you to everyone who has always supported my music career. I literally have the best fans on the planet and have loved seeing all of your posts about the new song. 🥹 P.S. More new music to come in the new year 😉”

Paris Hilton, 41, is gearing up for a year of new music in 2023. In a recent press release she shared, “Looks like Y2K is here to stay and Paris Hilton is making music a key part of her 2023 plan.”
Additionally, Cyrus performed several other times throughout the star-studded broadcast. She performed alongside Fletcher, David Byrne, Rae Sremmurd, and more during the show.
While co-hosting and performing during the New Year’s Eve celebration, Cyrus also announced a brand-new single titled “Flowers,” which is available now for preorder/pre-save and will arrive on January 13, 2023.
Co-hosted by Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton, Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party aired on live on NBC from Miami, Florida on Saturday (Dec. 31) from 10:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. ET and will also stream live on Peacock.
This year’s edition of Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party marked the second consecutive year of the New Year’s Eve special.
Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party also featured an A-list lineup of musical performances and special guests, including Miley Cyrus, Dolly Parton, Latto, Liily, FLETCHER, Rae Sremmurd, and SIA.
In addition to an epic lineup of performances, Saturday Night Live’s (SNL) Chloe Fineman and Sarah Sherman as well as comedy trio Please Don’t Destroy also made appearances.
“The lineup is very me. It is curated in a way that makes no sense, but makes total sense,” Cyrus previously explained during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Last year, Cyrus co-hosted her New Year’s Eve Party alongside Pete Davidson. The 2021/2022 installment of the show, which drew in over 6.3 million viewers and was the No. 1 trending New Year’s Eve special on Twitter, featured performances from Jack Harlow, Billie Joe Armstrong, Brandi Carlile, Saweetie, Noah Cyrus, Anitta, 24kGoldn, Kitty Ca$h, and more.
