Mariah Carey brought her highly successful ‘Caution World Tour‘ to Atlantic City’s Hard Rock Casino and Hotel, in support of her latest, Caution. With her signature five-octave vocal range and over 200 million records sold worldwide, it was no surprise that the pop songbird brought along a massive production and a set full of hit songs.

The five time Grammy-award winning artist, Carey brought her iconic live performance to Atlantic City for a 2-hour, 20-song set that spanned across her entire discography even including a montage of hits from her soundtrack album, Glitter, which fans demanded to be heard as they use the hashtag #JusticeForGlitter throughout the internet. Over the course of Carey’s career which has been active for nearly 30 years, she has put out fifteen studio albums and has managed to stay in the spotlight throughout the longevity of her entire career thus far. Carey powered through her 20-song setlist and performed some of her biggest hits like “Hero,” “Dreamlover,” “We Belong Together,” “Touch My Body,” “Emotions,” “Always Be My Baby” and some fan-favorites from her latest record like the anthemic “GTFO” and “A No No,” “8th Grade,” the title track “Caution” and she made the live debut of “One Mo’ Gen.” Her songs sounding even more powerful and impressive live then they do on her recorded albums, which is no surprised for this exceptional pop star. Her vocals can especially be noted during her performance of “Visions Of Love,” “Emotions,” “GTFO,” and “Hero” which each ended in a roaring ovation.

The rather intimate venue was completely sold out for the show which made for an evening of connecting closely with her fans who she referred to as her ‘Lambily” throughout the evening. Bringing along some impeccable production to compliment the showcase of vocal prowess throughout her performance. Including props, vibrant lights, 6 vertical video screens to accompany her massive video wall that filled the backdrop for some visually stunning graphics to perfectly match each song, and a grand staircase, similar to what you would see come from a castle filling center stage.

Carey had several elegant costume changes throughout her 2-hour set and sparkling attire that included her short silver sequin dress, a lengthy fuchsia pink diamond encrusted dress, her fish-scale like body suit that acted as a dress as well adding a puffy dress to the bodysuit and her one-of-a-kind curvy black dress complete with two lines of light that was synchronized to the music. Carey’s choreography from her dancers was perfect in sync throughout the night, having the perfect dance routine for each song as Carey swayed back and forth sexily across the stage.

A highlight of Carey’s set definitley include the cute moment between her and her 7-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe. In which during her performance of “Always Be My Baby,” she had a collage of photos and videos filling the massive video screens of her and her kids during what appeared to be a family photo shoot played before the twins made their grand appearance near the end of the song to say hello to their mama as she was working, and although they both did have mics equipped in their hands they didn’t sing along but did tell the crowd to have a great night as they sprinted off the stage after pecking Carey on the cheek for a cute mother to kid addition to her set as Carey’s current boyfriend and former backup dancer, Bryan Tanaka watched from the crowd.
