To celebrate Maddox Batson kicking off his completely sold-out Road To Indio Tour, the 15-year-old “Girl In Green” singer unveiled his top 5 tour must-haves.
The fast-rising country star revealed his must-have essentials for life on the road during a conversation with Music Mayhem at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, just moments before making his dream come true Opry debut.

See Maddox Batson’s Top 5 Tour Essentials below.
1. A Steamer
“Number one, a steamer… If you don’t know, water takes like 25 minutes to 5 hours to actually get to your vocal cords depending on like how hydrated you are, but steam goes directly to your vocal cords, so definitely a steamer,” Batson explained.
2. Water
“Number two, you got to have water. You’re a singer. I guess,” the “I Don’t Like You Anymore” singer stated with a laugh.
3. Wireless Headphones Headband
“Number three, It’s like a headband, and you wrap it around your head, but it has speakers in it. So if you ever have headphones in, you can’t lay down because it hurts your ears, and you’re laying up against them. This solves that problem. It’s just like a headband, and it has speakers in it so you can lay down. So it’s the most lifesaving thing ever. It’s super cool,” the 15-year-old singer/songwriter explained.
4. Hummus For A Snack
“Next, I guess a little snack, I’m a big hummus guy. I love hummus, so always keep hummus on the bus, even though people get mad at me for that, because it’s probably not the best thing for me to be eating before I sing, but it is what it is, whatever,” he added for his fourth essential road item.
5. Xbox Gaming Console
“And then last probably my Xbox, because I mean, there’s a lot of downtime on the road, especially before the shows and even after the shows. So yeah, there’s just a lot of downtime. You don’t have a whole lot to do, so might as well bring the game,” he concluded.
Road To Indio Tour In Support Of His First Dance EP
Maddox Batson kicked off his headlining Road To Indio Tour on March 28 at The Bluestone in Columbus, Ohio, and continues through April 26, where it will wrap up with a performance at the iconic Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California.
“My favorite part out of anything in my career is performing. My favorite thing to do is perform, so just getting out in front of the fans and just seeing those sold out crowds. It means the absolute world to me, and just getting to play in front of those sold out crowds,” Batson told Music Mayhem. “It means the absolute world to me, and it is just super sick. It’s super surreal. Every time I walk out and they’re all screaming. It’s super cool.”
Batson’s headlining tour comes just days after the release of his 7-track debut EP, First Dance, which features six tracks, including “I Don’t Like You Anymore,” “Girl In Green,” “X’s,” “God Talkin’,” “Problem,” “It Was You” and “Soundbound.”
“I’m very proud of my work, and I’m very proud of the stuff that I’ve done, and I give it all back to the fans. I wouldn’t be able to release it without ’em. But it was a very good process, and I’m glad we got to narrow it down to the seven that we did, because I’m very proud of each and every one of ’em. They’re great songs.”
Following his headlining tour, Maddox Batson will join Lainey Wilson for five dates of her Whirlwind Tour, where he will make his Bridgestone Arena debut.
