Luke Combs granted a fan’s dying wish and made her dreams come true.

According to FOX 17 Nashville News, country music fan Rena Bishop was “diagnosed with Stage 4 Triple Negative Metastatic Breast Cancer” and has one last wish to meet superstar, Luke Combs.

Doctors recently told Bishop that “treatments have stopped working,” and when that happened, her friends immediately united around her on a mission to make sure her wish of meeting “her man” Combs was granted to bring a joyous moment to her courageous fight.

“I love Rena and I don’t want her last moments to be focused on the pain, I want her to remember that time,” a friend of Bishop’s shared.

“This cancer is extremely aggressive, develops secondary formations outside of the initial and primary sights, and is currently incurable,” the Nashville news report said. “Unfortunately even with all the advancements in modern and progressive medicine, recently her doctor has told her that her treatments are no longer working.”

Through the power of the internet and social media, the viral story made its way to Luke Combs, who was more than willing to make her dream of meeting him come true. Combs called Bishop via Facetime and the two chatted and shared a few laughs. Bishop’s friends told FOX17 news that “Rena was over the moon during her conversation with Luke,” later adding that Combs is a “great guy.”

While Bishop’s wish was granted, her best friend, Hillary Mosaic, who is currently taking care of her, says her family and friends are preparing “for the worst, for the inevitable.”
