Luke Bryan’s mom LeClaire Bryan is living her best life on the water while jamming out to Morgan Wallen

Taking to social media on Tuesday, May 23, LeClaire gave fans a sneak peek into the ideal summer day that consisted of warm weather in what appears to be Georgia, fishing and listening to Wallen’s “Country A$$ Shit.”

“What a georgeous day. Love fishing so much. Beats cleaning the house any day,” she wrote in the caption.

The Georgia native was filmed steering the boat while donning a pink tank top and blue jean shorts.

Wallen’s vocals can be heard in the background singing the final verse, “’Cause me and my country-ass goin’ fishin’ / There ain’t much country ass left in these old blue jeans / But wait a minute, the whole world can kiss it / ‘Cause me and my country ass goin’ fishin’.”

This window-down anthem was written by Wallen with Jordan Schmidt and Chase McGill and is featured on the East Tennessee native’s record-breaking project, Dangerous: The Double Album. Since the massive project was first unveiled on January 8, 2021, the collection has spawned many hit singles, incredible growth in the country star’s career, and a massive eight-month tour.

During a previous appearance on the Full Send Podcast, Bryan was asked to list a few of his top favorite country artists and instantly revealed he’s been a longtime fan of Wallen.

He even recalled being one of the first artists to put the “Last Night” singer on stage of a stadium show.

“Morgan, his first year out on the road with me [and] I was the first one, I think, to put him in a stadium environment,” Bryan said. “I think the years that I had Morgan out… [and] I think I did 12 or 13 stadiums that year and the second I heard his first single, ‘Up Down,’ the second I heard it, I said, I knew something was up. ‘knew wherever he was coming from to write that cause I was like, ‘God damn.’”

He added, “If I had heard that song, first listen, I would’ve went right to the studio and recorded it and just friggin’ loved it. And when i heard ‘Up Down,’ I was like, ‘get him out.’”

Written by HARDY, Brad Clawson and CJ Solar and recorded by Wallen with former country music duo, Florida Georgia Line, “Up Down” serves as the second single off the country megastar’s album, If I Know Me.

Bryan and Wallen have seemingly formed a friendship over the years and have made several surprise appearances on stage together in the past.

On July 30, 2021, Bryan brought the party to Nashville with a sold-out concert at Bridgestone Area that included three special guests – Tyler Hubbard, Jason Aldean and Morgan Wallen.

After Wallen performed his chart-topping hits, “More Than My Hometown” and “Whiskey Glasses,” all four artists joined forces for an unforgettable performance of  Aldean’s “She’s Country.”

Following the electrifying show, the “One Margarita” singer sat down with Storme Warren on SiriusXM’s The Highway to speak about asking Wallen to join him just one hour before taking the stage.

“An hour before the show, Morgan Wallen texted my manager, and he’s like ‘hey, I’ve got my kid, but I’m not going to have my kid in a min, we’re doing the kid swap,’” he told the outlet. “And my manager goes, ‘well come by.’ But then I was like, ‘well, do you want to get up there [on stage]?”

“Morgan came out, and then people went wild, and it was really special to be on the stage, and it was really, really loose and fun, he added. “I think I had to pay a nice venue fee because II went over the allotted time.”

Luke Bryan recently wrapped up his latest run on the singing competition show, American Idol. Live from Hollywood, the three-hour Season 21 finale features a slew of star-studded performances, including Bryan’s delivery of his latest release, “But I Got A Beer In My Hand.” He also wowed the audience with a stunning duet alongside finalist Colin Stough. Together, they performed a cover of “Slow Hand” by Conway Twitty.
