Country icon Loretta Lynn shared a beautiful family Christmas photo with her children: Patsy, Cissy, Peggy and Ernest.
Lynn captioned the photo with a sweet message, “When it’s all said and done this right here is what matters the most.”
Due to the novel pandemic, Lynn was unable to gather with her entire family as she is used to but she was able to get together with her four children.
“Christmas is a little quieter around here this year–just my kids and not the whole big crew because of Covid, but this picture tells it all,” Lynn explained.
In the photo, she and two of her children are seen holding images of her late children Doo, Jack and Betty, who she wishes were with them today.
“We shared a sweet moment together when we took this picture. I can’t tell you how much I wish Doo, Jack, and Betty were with us today. My heart’s never gotten over losing those three,” Lynn said. “Yet, I’m so grateful for the four I still have and my heart is full of memories and love. When we think about them we laugh and we cry. I guess that’s how it goes. This picture is my world–my whole world. Everything that matters the most to me is right here.”
Lynn then added a message to fans, wishing them a Merry Christmas.
“I pray your Christmas Is full of love, laughter, sweet memories, faith, and family. Merry Christmas, friends.” she added.
