Kelly Clarkson and Brett Eldredge released their new Christmas duet “Under The Mistletoe” on Wednesday (Oct. 28), just ahead of the upcoming holiday season.
The upbeat track was co-written by Clarkson alongside Aben Eubanks. This song is just one of two Christmas songs that Clarkson will be unleashing this Holiday season. The second holiday song from Clarkson will be a cover. Both of the aforementioned songs follow her 2013 Christmas album, Wrapped in Red.
“I actually have a couple Christmas things dropping too, that were very random,” she said. “A duet with Brett Eldredge, who I love, that I wrote, and a cover song. So it’s like an A/B side thing that’s coming out for Christmas.”
“Push my pride aside / When I close my eyes / It’s just you and I / Here under the mistletoe,” the superstar pair sing during the chorus. “Magic fills the air / Standin’ over there / Sent to heal my pridе / Here under thе mistletoe.”
