Miranda Lambert and Elle King are releasing a new duet entitled “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” this coming Friday, February 26.
The superstars first teased the collaboration on Monday (Feb. 22), using the hashtag #Drunk, which sparked excitement across the internet. Now the singers have both shared a snippet of the forthcoming track, which you can listen to below.
In the clips shared teasing the upcoming single, you see King and Lambert recording vocals for the track, drinking tequila and just having a good ol’ time together.
“So bartender take my keys / what do you want from me / baby i’m drunk and I don’t wanna go home / not staying in to fight / i’m staying out all night / baby i’m drunk and I don’t wanna go home / we don’t gotta wait until the weekend / always time for jumping off the deep end / don’t you wait up tonight / don’t worry i’ll be fine / baby, i’m drunk and I don’t wanna go home / yeah,” the singers sing during the chorus.

King previously joined forces with Lambert, Maren Morris, Ashley McBryde, Tenille Townes and Caylee Hammack for their CMA-nominated track “Fooled Around and Fell In Love.” The singer also appeared on Lambert’s highly successful Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars Tour.
