Lainey Wilson‘s boyfriend, Devlin “Duck” Hodges, is proving to be her biggest fan in his latest TikTok video.

The 27-year-old former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback recently attended one of the “Watermelon Moonshine” singer’s photo shoots and shared a glimpse of the experience on his official TikTok account. On June 18, Devlin Hodges took to his TikTok to share behind-the-scenes footage of Lainey Wilson’s recent photo shoot.

“Went to one of those photo shoot things with Lainey… I’d go to another one Yeah I’m simping hard @laineywilsonmusic,” Hodges captioned the clip.

In the TikTok video, Hodges captures behind-the-scenes moments as Wilson poses for the camera. The clip begins with Hodges filming Wilson in action, striking poses and exuding confidence in front of a professional photographer. As the video continues, Hodges turns the camera towards himself, revealing his wide-eyed expression as he admired his girlfriend from afar.

“Oh My Gosh…”

With his eyebrows raised, and his jaw dropped, Hodges mouths the words “oh my gosh” in sheer amazement, clearly in awe of his talented girlfriend.

The video showcases Hodges’ unwavering support for Wilson. It’s evident that he takes pride in being by her side and celebrating her career accomplishments. As an athlete, Hodges understands the dedication and hard work required to excel in one’s respective field, and he is thrilled to witness Wilson’s success firsthand while supporting her along the way.

The couple’s connection is prevalent not only through their romantic relationship, but also through their shared love for their respective crafts. Hodges, known for his time as a professional football player, and Wilson, a country music superstar, are two individuals who support and encourage each other’s dreams.

How Did Lainey Wilson Meet Her Boyfriend Devlin Hodges?

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Wilson opened up about her “healthy relationship” with Hodges, whom she calls “one of my biggest cheerleaders and champions.”

While the couple made their debut on the red carpet at the 2023 ACM Awards in May, introducing their relationship publicly for the first time, Lainey Wilson and Devlin Hodges have been dating for over two years. However, Wilson decided it was best to keep their relationship a secret until the time was right.

“I said, ‘We gonna see if you’re in it for the right reasons.’ Turns out, he is,” she explained. “Somebody said how funny it was watching him high-five all of my artist friends at the ACMs, and I said, ‘Those are his friends!’ He’ll FaceTime me, and he’ll be with HARDY and Morgan [Wallen] and Luke [Combs], and I’m like, ‘Stop stealing all my buddies.’ They’ll always be out golfing and drinking a beer. I don’t have to convince anybody to like him. He’s a very lovable person.”

The Pair Have Been Dating For Two And A Half Years

During a discussion with Bobby Bones on The Bobby Bones Show, Wilson admitted that Hodges has “been around for a while.”

“I just decided to make him wait for two and a half years. He’s a good dude. He knows what it’s like chasing a dream. He’s done that for himself. He was in the NFL. He tried out, literally, for the Steelers, and made it and had a really great run with them. I’ll tell ya, he is good as gold,” she gushed. “He supports me. He would never come in between anything that I’m trying to do. He’s like, ‘Go get it, girl.’ And I made him wait for a while. I mean…it’s been a little over two years now.”

The couple reportedly began dating in 2021 after meeting through mutual friends in Music City.

Lainey Wilson recently admitted that “it feels really good to talk about” her relationship with Devlin Hodges now that their relationship has been made public.

“He Knows How Important This Dream Is To Me”

As Wilson continues to make strides in her music career, it’s clear that she can count on Hodges to be her “biggest cheerleader.”

“Duck is the kind of dude who high-fives me on the way in the door and on the way out and says, ‘Go get it.’ He knows how important this dream is to me,” Wilson gushed of Hodges. She later revealed that her “healthy relationship” with Hodges has already begun to inspire her to write new music.

“I was never really able to write love songs, because I don’t know if I had actually felt it, but I’m writing me some love songs now. I’m grateful for him,” Wilson added.
