Lainey Wilson delivered standout collaborations with Terri Clark, Keith Urban and Jelly Roll, along with a show-stopping performance of “Hang Tight Honey” at 2024 CMA Fest, all of which showcased why she is the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year.
Throughout the evening, Wilson joined or welcomed friends to the stage for epic performances.
Terri Clark And Lainey Wilson – “Poor, Poor Pitiful Me”
Wilson’s first guest appearance of the evening was with country music icon, Terri Clark, who joined the Louisiana native for a performance of “Poor, Poor Pitiful Me,” a duet that appears on Clark’s new duets project, Terri Clark: Take Two.
The pair were all smiles as they belted out the lyrics to the country hit. During the performance, not only did the pair blend their voices beautifully, but Wilson played the cowbell while Clark strummed the guitar.

Keith Urban Featuring Lainey Wilson – “GO HOME W U”
In the midst of Keith Urban’s high-energy set, he welcomed Lainey Wilson to the stage for a performance of their new collaboration, “GO HOME W U,” a song that was co-written by Urban alongside BRELAND, Sam Sumser and Sean Small.
Together, the pair of hitmakers delivered an electrifying performance and flawlessly blended their vocals for stunning vocal harmonies.

Jelly Roll And Lainey Wilson – “Save Me”
During Jelly Roll’s headlining set at Nissan Stadium during CMA Fest, he brought his friend Lainey Wilson out to join him for their chart-topping duet, “Save Me.” Jelly Roll kicked off the powerful performance by singing the opening verse before welcoming his “dear friend from Baskin, Louisiana” to the stage. The pair of chart-topping artists then flawlessly combined their distinctive vocals on the chorus in perfect harmony.
“I’m a lost cause / Baby, don’t waste your time on me / I’m so damaged beyond repair / Life has shattered my hopes and my dreams,” Jelly Roll and Wilson sang on the chorus.

Lainey Wilson – “Hang Tight Honey”
In addition to joining her friends Terri Clark, Keith Urban and Jelly Roll for duets, Lainey Wilson also proved her superstar status with a show-stopping performance of her latest release, “Hang Tight Honey.”
Donning blue bell bottoms, a matching blue vest and black leather cowboy hat, the country superstar stormed the stage with an energy-filled performance of “Hang Tight Honey.”
“Hang Tight Honey” is set to appear on Lainey Wilson’s forthcoming new album, Whirlwind. The 14 track project is set to arrive on August 23 and will feature her highly-anticipated Miranda Lambert duet, “Good Horses,” as well as the already released tune “Country’s Cool Again” and upcoming new song, “4x4xU.”
“Writing & recording these 14 songs over the past couple of years has helped me stay grounded in ways you’d never believe,” Wilson previously in a press release. “This album brought me back to my roots and made me feel at home during times when I couldn’t have been further away, and my biggest hope is that it gives you that same sense of comfort that it has for me.”
Ahead of her performance, Lainey Wilson talked to the Country Music Association (CMA) about her whirlwind year. “This past year has been a whirlwind. I mean, that is the word that I keep using. That’s the word that I keep seeing. I keep hearing from other people, even strangers, just trying to keep one foot on the ground. It’s really kind of hard to wrap your head around everything that’s been happening. It’s one blessing after another, but we’ve been trying to zoom out as much as we possibly can to really see just how far we’ve come in a short amount of time. Don’t count the 13 years I’ve been here, but let’s talk about the last couple. It’s been crazy.”
