ACM and CMA Award-winning artist Lainey Wilson truly has a heart of gold, launching her Heart Like A Truck Fund that will help out a wide variety of causes.

When Did Lainey Wilson Announce her Heart Like A Truck Fund?

While appearing on SiriusXM‘s The Highway on October 24, the chart-topping vocalist announced her newest endeavor alongside her fellow Heart Wranglers, a group of songwriters consisting of herself, Dallas Wilson and Trannie Anderson.

In the interview, the Louisiana native gushed, “I’m so excited to be able to finally do this. To be able to give back because that’s what it’s all about and that’s what I’m finally able to do. The truth is I feel like I’m just in a place where I can do that… I think finding certain organizations and charities I’m passionate about, going to all these different cities, and seeing what the need is will really fill my cup, and we all need a little cup filling.”

Just moments after her appearance on SiriusXM‘s The Highway, Wilson celebrated her smash hit “Heart Like A Truck” with a No. 1 party in Nashville, Tennessee, where she shared the news even further with a heartfelt speech given to her friends and colleagues.

“This song has changed a lot of lives, and I hear stories every single day in my meet and greets, whether it’s people who are just going through sicknesses or divorces or whatever. This song has become their anthem,” she gushed about her number one single, “Heart Like A Truck,” prior to diving into the meaning behind her Heart Like A Truck fund.

“I’m so proud to say that we just started the Heart Like A Truck fund,” she revealed in her tear-jerking speech. “It’s just really exciting to finally be in a place to where I feel like, ‘All right, now I can kind of come up for air and we can actually like do something.’ I know we’re making a difference with our music, but like really make a difference.”

Launched An Official Instagram For The Fund

To top off this one-of-a-kind announcement, the caption was equally as phenomenal — “‘Heart Like A Truck’ is all about resilience. It celebrates finding freedom in strength and not being afraid of the scars and bruises that you got along the way, a message that has encouraged me through tough times and I hope will continue to encourage each and every one of you.”

“My @heartlikeatruckfund will support others and causes that are focused on that same message of strength and resilience, and I’m excited to announce that $1 from every ticket sold for my #CountrysCoolAgain tour will go toward it and bettering the lives of others,” the caption concluded.
