Laine Hardy is teasing that new music is on the way, as he is currently in the studio.
The “Tiny Town” singer is hard at work on his debut effort with producer Michael Knox (Jason Aldean), the same producer who he worked with on his songs, “Other LA” and “Tiny Town.”
“Been in the studio working on a ton of new music this week,” Hardy captioned a photo of himself on Instagram.
Hardy then teased fans saying “If y’all think I released a lot in 2020…you’re in for a nice surprise!”
Earlier this month, The American Idol alum shared an image of him in the studio that he captioned “Feels great to be back in the studio.”
Following the image of himself, was a video teaser of what could be a brand new song’s instrumental, which you can hear below.
Hardy is working on new music with producer Michael Knox and studio musicians Danny Rader, Tully Kennedy, Adam Shoenfeld, Rich Redmond and Kurt Allison. Redmond and Allison are both apart of Jason Aldean’s touring band.
Redmond shared a clip on his Instagram tracking a “yet to be released” song, it’s unclear if this is a Hardy song but it very well could be as they are in the studio together.
Earlier in the week, Redmond shared an Instagram story that he was “tracking music for Laine Hardy,” alongside a photo of sheet music for a song entitled, “Authentic.”
Music Mayhem recently named Hardy an artist to watch in 2021, saying “the Louisiana native may have been the champion of Season 17 of American Idol in 2019 but we think he is going to be the champion of country music in 2021.”
Hardy is set to perform some virtual concerts in the coming weeks, click HERE to see when.
