On Monday (July 5), the “excited” country singer and 2019 American Idol winner performed his latest single during Blake Moynes and Katie Thurston’s one-on-one date on tonight’s episode of The Bachelorette, marking his Bachelor Nation debut.

“I wanna know your heart by heart and your kiss by kiss/ Wanna know what it was like/ Everyday before me what’s your story baby every single line/ What makes you laugh makes you dance makes you fall like only love can do/ Give me some time with your smile baby I wanna memorize you,” Hardy sings during the chorus.

Moynes and Thurston slow danced and kissed during Hardy’s performance of the alluring love song.

Thurston gushed over how perfect the track was for the romantic moment between her and her date.

“Today was just perfect and tonight Blake & I were kind of just like in our own little world, dancing, listening to Laine Hardy,” Thurston said. “The song was called ‘Memorize You’ and it was really the perfect song to dance to with Blake and it’s so romantic.”

“I could see myself walking away with Blake at the end of this,” Thurston added.
