Lady Gaga (Ally) and Bradley Cooper (Jackson Maine) have now taken to the 91st Annual Academy Awards (Oscars) stage to perform their chart-topping single “Shallow” from the ‘A Star Is Born’ Soundtrack. The single “Shallow” has been conquering the charts, flooding radio stations across the U.S. and is a high demand fan favorite song. Gaga perform the song in a rock version on the 2019 GRAMMYs awards earlier this month and the rendition was fabulous but nothing compares to when actor Bradley Cooper belts out the lyrics to “Shallow” with Gaga live on a televised awards show just as it was within the ‘A Star Is Born’ movie.
This award show performance of “Shallow” is Gaga and Cooper’s first time performing the song live together with the exception of Gaga’s solo GRAMMYs performance or their joint performance at Gaga’s Enigma residency in Las Vegas, so this Oscars performance was a very special moment for the ‘A Star Is Born’ stars.
The performance on the 2019 Oscars awards was just a powerful performance of such a beautiful song, and to hear actor Bradley Cooper’s vocals singing live on television is just an incredible moment as he is not known for his singing with the exception of his awesome guitar and singing talents in the ‘A Star Is Born’ movie. Ending their emotion-filled performance with a standing ovation.
‘A Star Is Born’ is up for eight awards at tonight’s Oscar awards including Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor (Sam Elliott), Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Actor (Bradley Cooper), Best Actress (Lady Gaga), Best Cinematography (Matthew Libatique), Best Sound Mixing (Steve Morrow, Tom Ozanich, Dean Zupancic, Jason Ruder), and Best Original Song (“Shallow”).
