Kenny Chesney is headed back to Sphere in Las Vegas next year, and he’s already got some changes in mind for his fans. In a conversation on his SiriusXM channel, No Shoes Radio, Chesney shared that the 2026 leg of his Sin City residency will feature a different show from the one fans experienced during its initial run in the summer of 2025.

“We have to change it some. Half the show’s probably gonna be completely different, and we’re gonna change some of it,” Chesney shared. He specifically pointed to his set list, which during his first Vegas go round contained many of his massive hits like “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy,” “American Kids” and “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems.” For 2026, fans may be hearing some tracks that Chesney hasn’t performed during his recent outings on the road.

“There are some songs that we haven’t done in a while that we’re gonna do,” the 57-year-old East Tennessee native said. “That’s the beauty of it, because in that environment, you get to do songs that you don’t get to do at stadium shows. And so we did a lot of that this year, and we’re gonna do some more of that next summer.”

Chesney’s 2026 Sphere shows are scheduled for June 19, 20, 24, 26 and 27. That’s similar timing to his 2025 concerts, which hit Sphere in the summer to better embody Chesney’s sun-soaked beach vibe. Despite the similar seasons and repeat venue, the Tennessee native wants to give fans in the audience a totally new experience.

“I would say, probably, at least half the show is gonna be completely different. Because I wouldn’t wanna go to the Sphere one year and then come back the next year and see the exact same thing. “It’s like, ‘Oh, well, I went to the circus last year, and they did the same thing this year,’” Chesney added, joking, “I’m just saying. Whatever it is, it is a circus. I mean, we’re a circus act.”

When his new shows were announced, the new Country Music Hall of Fame member explained that he was inspired to return to Sphere after seeing how fans in the audience reacted to his shows there this year.

“You can’t truly understand until you start playing music with all the people there, feeling that energy and the way the visuals and the songs just consume people,” he said. “The more I watched the fans having this experience I’m sure they couldn’t imagine, the more ideas I had – both to reconfigure some of last year’s songs, and a few songs that seemed like they should get this immersive treatment – and wanted to do.

“I think there are so many ways for people to play this venue, but I feel pretty sure nobody has had more fun there, brought more joy – or that freewheeling Sandbar experience – than No Shoes Nation. And wherever they sat, we could hear ‘em, too. So, if you didn’t get to see it, c’mon! And if you did, well, come live those songs again – because this isn’t something you get to do every single year!”
