Following many weeks of teasing fans on social media, Kelsea Ballerini has officially released her “Hole In The Bottle” collaboration featuring fellow country superstar Shania Twain. The song was released on Friday, November 13.

Ballerini has been using lyrics as captions on her Instagram photos for weeks leading up to the much-anticipated announcement of the aforementioned collaboration. The singer even included a few teasers within her CMA Awards performance from wearing the infamous hat that appears on Twain’s “Man, I Feel Like A Woman” music video to ending her performance by quoting Twain’s iconic line, “Let’s Go Girls.”

“They say don’t meet your heroes…unless your hero is Shania Twain…then meet her, known her and make music with her. She’s inspired me in every way and has become a mentor and friend and added some major sass and spice to ‘Hole in the Bottle’ the way only Shania could,” Ballerini said in a statement.

Twain added, “Kelsea and I have had some laughs together over the last couple of years! She joined me on stage back in 2017 when I headlined Stagecoach and we’ve had a chance to catch up over a glass of wine a couple of times since. We’ve also sent pieces of songs back and forth to each other and I have to say, she’s an incredible raw talent. I love ‘Hole in the Bottle,’ it really speaks to my own sense of humor and it was so cool to get to do it with a friend.”

Listen to the new version of the popular tune below.

“Hole In The Bottle” featuring Twain marks the third version of the popular Ballerini track following the original and the reimagined version dubbed the ballerini edition. The song first appeared on Ballerini’s album, kelsea, which came out in March 2020, the reimagined edition of the track appeared on her latest album, ballerini.
