Kelly Clarkson gave a breathtaking rendition of The Youngbloods’ chart-topping single “Get Together” during her Thursday (Feb. 25) talk show.

The hitmaker serenaded First Lady Dr. Jill Biden with a cover of one of her favorite songs, live from inside the White House’s East Room alongside her musical director, Jason Halbert. The same room where she conducted Dr. Biden’s first solo big TV interview for Thursday’s The Kelly Clarkson Show episode.

Fans were ecstatic about the soothing rendition of the song that Clarkson performed from the White House. One fan even commented, “Kelly just changed the whole direction of this song in the absolute best of ways. I’ve always loved this song and Kelly somehow just took it to a whole new level.”

“Just casually cleansing the White House with her vocals,” another fan shared, while another fan labeled her a “QUEEN.”

“Get Together” is a song from The Youngbloods’ debut self-titled album, released in 1967. The single also known as “Let’s Get Together,” become one of the band’s only Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

During the show, Clarkson also received some emotion-filled, motherly divorce advice from the First Lady.
