Kelly Clarkson and Season 21 winners of The Voice, Girl Named Tom, commanded the attention of viewers with their memorizing performance of a pop hit during the season finale of NBC’s The Voice.

Clarkson and the sibling trio composed of Josh, Caleb, and Bekah Liechty from Pettisville, Ohio, performed a cover of the Jonas Brothers’ latest single, “Leave Before You Love Me,” during the finale of The Voice on Tuesday evening (Dec. 14).

The performance kicked off as the trio and superstar sat upon white furniture in a makeshift room, illuminated with colorful lights. As the performance continued, Girl Named Tom and Clarkson walked onto the stage, joining the band as they put their harmonies on full display.

“Leave Before You Love Me” is a track released in May 2021 by the popular boy band and Marshmello, which served as their first single of the year.

Later in the show, NBC The Voice history was made when the trio were crowned the winners of Season 21, becoming the first-ever trio to make it to the finale and win the overall competition. The win marked Clarkson’s fourth win on The Voice, following Brynn Cartelli, Chevel Shepherd, and Jake Hoot.

Additionally, Girl Named Tom is the first act in Voice history to simultaneously have four different songs within the Top 10 of iTunes.

“Kelly you have really believed in us since day one… Thank you for every little thing that you’ve taught us,” Bekah said.

“It’s been the most amazing thing to work with y’all this season… I love your harmonies, you’ve done amazing things on iTunes already… I am team GNT forever,” Clarkson gushed ahead of host Carson Daly announcing the winner.

Daly declared Girl Named Tom as the winner of Season 21 of The Voice.

Throughout the season, the trio has covered songs by Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Glen Campbell, Ingrid Andress, and Coldplay (just to name a few).

Joining Team Kelly’s Girl Named Tom in the finale are Team Kelly’s Hailey Mia, Team Blake’s Wendy Moten and Paris Winningham and Team Legend’s Jershika Maple.

The two-hour season finale also featured performances by Alicia Keys, Ariana Grande with Kid Cudi, Carrie Underwood with John Legend, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Jennifer Lopez, Tori Kelly with Keke Palmer and Walker Hayes.

Additionally, the Top 5 competitors — Girl Named Tom, Jershika Maple, Paris Winningham, Wendy Moten and Hailey Mia — performed alongside their coaches, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend.

The Voice Season 21 finale aired on Monday Dec. 13 at 8 p.m. PT/ET and Tuesday, Dec. 14 at 9 p.m. PT/ET on NBC.
