Kelly Clarkson is gearing up to release a brand new holiday song later this month!
The superstar shared the exciting news in an Instagram video on Wednesday (Sept. 15). In the clip, Clarkson announced that she will be releasing a new single called “Christmas Isn’t Canceled (Just You)” next week.
“Y’all know I’m obsessed with Christmas and that’s why I’m so excited to announced my new single ‘Christmas Isn’t Canceled (Just You)’ is coming out September 23,” Clarkson said in the clip, before promising fans, “you’re going to love it!”

The news comes after New York Times reported that Clarkson is working on a Christmas album for release later this year.
While the singer has yet to announce a new holiday album, Clarkson’s label has confirmed that the new single is coming from her upcoming ninth studio album, which will mark the singer’s second holiday project since the release of 2013’s Wrapped In Red and her first new album since 2017’s Meaning Of Life.
Clarkson has shared several other holiday songs since releasing her holiday album in 2013, including her duet with Brett Eldredge, “Under The Mistletoe.”
Additionally, Clarkson recently kicked off the third season of her Emmy-award winning talk show and coming up on Monday (Sept. 20), the singer will return to her big red chair for Season 21 of NBC’s The Voice.
