Kelly Clarkson and Kenzie Wheeler performed Keith Whitley’s iconic hit “When You Say Nothing At All” during The Voice finale on Tuesday, May 25.

Surrounded by a tall grass and lanterns, the coach and contestant pairing flawlessly sang the ’90s country hit in perfect harmony. The performance especially noted Clarkson’s powerhouse vocals and Wheeler’s southern drawl.

“I mean it’s pretty awesome for sure,” Wheeler admitted.

“I think American’s really going to enjoy this performance,” Wheeler said before Clarkson added, “I am SO READY.”

The two-night season finale of The Voice also featured performances from Kelsea Ballerini, Lauren Daigle, Ben Platt, Justin Bieber, Thomas Rhett, OneRepublic, and Voice coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Nick Jonas.

Additionally, the star-studded lineup includes several collaborations, including Gwen Stefani & Saweetie, Maroon 5 with Megan Thee Stallion, Snoop Dogg featuring DJ Battlecat as well as The Voice contestants paired with their superstar coaches for one-of-a-kind duets.

Hosted by Carson Daly, the two-night season finale of The Voice aired live Monday and Tuesday, May 24-25, at 8/7c on NBC.
