Kelly Clarkson and Kenzie Wheeler performed Keith Whitley’s iconic hit “When You Say Nothing At All” during The Voice finale on Tuesday, May 25.
Surrounded by a tall grass and lanterns, the coach and contestant pairing flawlessly sang the ’90s country hit in perfect harmony. The performance especially noted Clarkson’s powerhouse vocals and Wheeler’s southern drawl.
“I mean it’s pretty awesome for sure,” Wheeler admitted.
“I think American’s really going to enjoy this performance,” Wheeler said before Clarkson added, “I am SO READY.”
