Kane Brown’s 1-year-old daughter Kingsley is loved and Brown admits that she changed he and his wife Katelyn’s lives for the better.

During a recent interview on The Artist and The Athlete with Lindsay Czarniak podcast, the “Worship You” singer gushed about his daughter Kingsley, saying, “that’s my little girl, man. She’s my best friend.”

The chart-topping hitmaker continued to chat about his adorable little girl, admitting that early on in Kingsley’s life he always felt a bit “hurt” as his daughter always “just wanted her mom all the time,” and not him. However, that has since changed, “Every time I put her down she just keeps saying ‘Dada’ and [puts her arms up reaching for me], so I can’t say no.”

Brown later revealed one of the biggest surprises of fatherhood, which he said would be how much you can truly love something.

“I think the big surprise would be that you don’t realize how much you can truly love something,” Brown revealed. “You know like I love my wife [Katelyn] unconditionally, but there’s something about my baby girl and it’s the same way with her.”

Additionally, the country superstar told PEOPLE back in March how his daughter completely changed his and his wife’s lives for the better.

“Kingsley has completely changed our lives for the better,” Brown admitted to the outlet, later adding, “I know when I get home and I’m exhausted, just holding her makes my day completely better.”
