Kane Brown turned the 2026 ACM Awards into a full-on dance party with a high-energy performance of his infectious anthem, “Woman.” Taking over the stage with a group of dancers and an electrifying production, Brown delivered one of the night’s most upbeat and crowd-pleasing moments.

The country superstar launched his performance in the center of the MGM Grand Garden Arena before making his way through the star-studded crowd for his main stage performance with a dozen dancers. The set visually mirrored Brown’s music video for the track.

“Yeah, they talkin’ ’bout girls (Girls)/ But I got a woman (I got a woman)/ Yeah, I got a woman right here in my hands/ They talkin’ ’bout girls (Girls)/ But I got a woman (I got a woman)/ Yeah, I got a woman/ Oh yeah, and she got a man,” Brown sang on the track’s chorus.

Kane Brown’s longtime friend and fellow country superstar Lauren Alaina, her husband Cam Arnold, and Katelyn Brown were spotted dancing and singing along throughout the performance. At one point, Arnold even stood on his chair and swung his suit jacket around in excitement. His electrifying ACM Awards performance ultimately earned a massive standing ovation from the crowd.

Produced by Dan Huff and co-written by Brown alongside John Byron, Ashley Gorley, Ben Johnson and Taylor Phillips, “Woman” is expected to appear on Brown’s upcoming fifth studio album, which has yet-to-be announced. The song serves as a tribute to his muse, wife and mother of his three kids, Katelyn Brown.

Of the track, Kane Brown previously told Audacy’s Katie Neal, “We were finishing this one song we were working on and I just got up to go warm up my food and as I’m warming up my food, this title just falls in my lap, ‘They’re talking about girls, but I got a woman,’” he explained. “So I went and sat down and I told em, ‘I think I got the next song we’re going to work on.’ And they said, ‘What is it?’ And I told them, and they’re like, ‘Where’s that been all day?’ I said, ‘I literally just thought about it in the kitchen.’ And I don’t know, it kind of just wrote itself.”

Despite being noticeably snubbed from this year’s ACM nominations, Brown showed up and delivered an unforgettable performance. Many fans were left frustrated that the hitmaker was overlooked in major categories such as Entertainer of the Year and Male Artist of the Year, especially given the continued success of his chart-topping songs and sold-out shows. Still, Brown didn’t let the omission dim his moment. Instead, he reminded viewers exactly why he continues to be one of the genre’s biggest crossover stars, bringing unmatched energy and hit-making power to the ACM Awards stage.

Earlier in the night, Kane Brown arrived to the ACM Awards red carpet hand-in-hand with his beautiful wife, Katelyn Brown.

The 2026 ACM Awards also featured performances from Blake Shelton, Cody Johnson, Dan + Shay, Ella Langley, Jordan Davis, Kacey Musgraves, Lainey Wilson, Lee Ann Womack, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Parker McCollum, Riley Green, The Red Clay Strays, Thomas Rhett, Zach Top and more, as well as ACM New Female Artist of the Year Avery Anna and ACM New Male Artist of the Year Tucker Wetmore.

The 61st Annual Academy of Country Music Awards also included a star-studded list of presenters, including Andrew Whitworth, Ashley McBryde, Carl Edwards, Corey LaJoie, Keith Urban, Lauren Alaina, Michael Bublé, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Shaboozey, The War And Treaty, T.J. Osborne and more.

Female artists led this year’s nominations, with Megan Moroney earning nine nods, followed by Miranda Lambert with eight, and both Ella Langley and Lainey Wilson tied with seven. Chris Stapleton, Zach Top, and Cody Johnson also entered the night as top nominees.

The 2026 ACM Awards brought country music’s biggest night back to Las Vegas in a star-studded celebration hosted by legendary songwriter and best-selling female country artist Shania Twain, marking her first time leading the show. The broadcast streamed live exclusively on Prime Video across more than 240 countries and territories and aired Sunday, May 17, 2026, from the iconic MGM Grand Garden Arena. The show was also available to stream via the Amazon Music app and Amazon Music channel on Twitch.

For country music fans that missed the live broadcast, the full show will also be available to stream on Prime Video the following day (May 18) at 8/7c.
