Kane Brown teased that he had a duet with his wife Katelyn Brown “in the works” back in May on Twitter, Now the country superstar revealed in an interview with Storme Warren on Sirius XM’s The Highway that the duet will be called “Mad At This World.”

Brown told Warren that his wife is his “secret weapon that I’m waiting to unleash” and that the song “immediately caught” his attention once he heard it.

“So usually, I’ll always just write my songs, but this was actually a pitch that I heard that immediately caught my ears and caught my attention,” Brown explained. “It’s kind of like another…it’s not ‘Worldwide Beautiful,’ but it’s basically a song calling out everything else that’s happened in 2020, from the tornados destroying Nashville, California getting hit by those fires, and all of that.”

He didn’t give fans a snippet of the track just yet but did say the overall theme of the song and gave a teaser of the lyrics.

“It’s basically saying, ‘how could I be mad at this world when this world gave me you?”

Brown however did not revealed all of the details, as the release date for the duet is still currently unknown.
