John Legend performed his single “Wild” during the Live Results round on Season 19 of The Voice.

The performance came with a moody stage setup complete with fog filling the floor and a full band.

“It’s a song about being in love and being passionate,” the star explained of the track previously. “The video of course featured my wife and my family. It’s a really powerful song.”

“It’s really one of my favorite songs on the album. One of Chrissy’s favorites,” he added.

“Wild” is from Legend’s Grammy-nominated 2020 album, Bigger Love.

The track is co-written by Legend alongside Samuel Romans, Thomas Barnes, Peter Kelleher, Benjamin Kohn and Jacob Torrey.

Legend recently teamed up with Carrie Underwood for their holiday duet “Hallelujah,” which the duo performed for the first time during Underwood’ HBO Max special.
