Jennifer Lopez delivered a powerful two song performance during President Joe Biden And Vice President Kamala Harris’ Inauguration on Wednesday (Jan. 20), live from Washington, D.C.

The superstar donned a beautiful white outfit while she performed two songs including Woody Guthrie’s “This Land Is Your Land” and  “America The Beautiful.” The singer also added a memorable moment to her performance throwing in a nod to her hit 2000 song “Let’s Get Loud” during “America The Beautiful.”

“One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all,” Lopez said in Spanish, concluding her performance.

During Monday (Jan. 18) evening’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Lopez’ husband Alex Rodriguez gushed over his wife saying “It’s been such a crazy year for her. So many blessings, but to think in a span of 12 months, she’s done the Super Bowl, New Year’s and now the inaugural, it’s unbelievable.”

He continued to say, “What’s interesting is she’s most nervous about Washington D.C. because of the responsibility. She wants more than anything, like all of us, to bring people together, to inspire. Music and sports does that better than anything.”

The theme of the Inauguration was “America United,” which the Presidential Inaugural Committee described as “the beginning of a new national journey that restores the soul of America, brings the country together, and creates a path to a brighter future.”

Inauguration celebrations will continue tonight with a primetime special, dubbed Celebrating America, which will be hosted by Tom Hanks and will air on Wednesday (Jan. 20) from 8:30-10:00 p.m. EST.
