HARDY and his wife, Caleigh Ryan Hardy, tied the knot in 2022, and the couple became parents earlier this year when they welcomed daughter Rosie in March. With his career often taking him away from his family, HARDY opened up about how he balances work and home life during a new interview with PEOPLE, sharing that he tries not to “put too much pressure on myself.”

“I don’t know why, but I just always consider myself human and a very lucky one at that,” he explained. “I take things a day at a time, and I treat everything like I’m just extremely lucky to be here. Just having that thought process always just takes the pressure off.”

The 35-year-old continued, “I don’t know how to explain it, but it’s just you got one life, man. You just enjoy it. Don’t take anything too seriously, especially putting pressure on yourself kind of way. It just did work out [for me]. It’s working so far.”

HARDY will be on the road throughout much of 2026 on his Country! Country! Tour, which begins in February and runs through August, taking him to arenas and amphitheaters across North America, as the tour begins with a month-long Canadian leg. His family will likely join him at some point, with Rosie already a touring pro after surprising her dad on the road in September for his birthday.

As for keeping his relationship with Caleigh strong, HARDY stressed that it’s all about communication, which he called “number one” and the “biggest thing” couples should focus on.

“I mean, it took me a long time to learn that, to not hold things in, but just talking it out and hashing it out, working it out, those are all forms of communication. To me, that just makes for the best relationship,” he said, adding, “If you’re with somebody that you love, then you should never, and they also should never be afraid to voice their opinion for the greater good of your family structure. That’s the best way to handle that and become the best version of a unit as you possibly can. It’s just communication, 100%.”

The country star had nothing but praise for his wife, who he called “incredibly humble and just incredibly supportive.”

“She is so passionate about so many things, and she’s just very cerebrally emotional… She feels so much, and it makes for such a great partner and a foundation for somebody that just has so much passion,” HARDY gushed.

He also reflected on how the pair’s relationship has continued to evolve throughout their years together. “The more she and I experience that, the more we will… Even more, we’ll realize how lucky we’ve got it,” the 35-year-old “Bottomland” singer said. “I think that only makes our relationship stronger at the end of the day.”
