Garth Brooks said that Gwen Stefani is “extremely lucky” to marry his longtime friend and “Dive Bar” duet partner Blake Shelton.

In a recently interview with Access Hollywood’s Kit Hoover, Brooks opened up about advice that he has for Stefani as she gears up to marry Shelton.

When asked what advice he has for Stefani, Brooks replied “Blake’s one of those guys that’s got no secrets. He’s not going to change on you. He’s going to be the same, which is a blessing. So I think she’s extremely lucky.”

The country superstar continued to gush on Shelton saying “I love that man. I really do.”

Brooks hopes to get the chance to get to know Stefani because he says “good people hang with good people” and Shelton is “solid.”

Brooks set to release his twelfth studio album, Fun, and Triple Live Deluxe at midnight tonight (Nov. 20).
