Gabby Barrett brought “I Hope” to life during her impressive debut CMT Music Awards performance on Wednesday, October 21.
The country superstar not only made her performance debut but she is also a first time nominee with 2 nods including Female Video Of The Year and Breakthrough Video Of The Year.
Joined by her husband Cade Foehner and band, the singer stunned donned in a sparkling black outfit with her baby bump on full display. Her performance ended with a grand finale worthy firework display.
The 3x Platinum hit is featured on Barrett’s debut studio album, Goldmine, and was co-written by Barrett alongside Zach Kale and Jon Nite.
The 2020 CMT Music Awards aired Wednesday night (Oct. 21) on CMT and featured performances from Ashley McBryde, Dan + Shay, Jimmie Allen, Noah Cyrus, Kelsea Ballerini, Halsey, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Brooks & Dunn, Maren Morris, Kane Brown, Morgan Wallen, Sam Hunt and Shania Twain as well as debut performances by Caylee Hammack, HARDY, Ingrid Andress, Mickey Guyton, Riley Green and Travis Denning.
The show was co-hosted by Kane Brown alongside Ashley McBryde and Sarah Hyland.
The Awards were produced by CMT’s Margaret Comeaux, Switched On Entertainment’s John Hamlin and Amy Lin Johnson; the Executives in Charge of Production are Jackie Barba and Heather D. Graffagnino.
