Facing Fire is set to release their debut self titled EP on 2-16-18 through Pavement Entertainment. Right out of the gate the band has established themselves with the first track on the EP entitled “Dying Inside”. The song instantly started making waves being noticed by radio and show promoters. Their debut single/video seemed to really hit home and propelled the status of the band to a new level. With powerful vocals and signature guitar licks, it has everything a fan of heavy music would want to hear. Track two on the EP is entitled “Filthy Life“. With teaser clips buzzing around social media of the new video, it has only amped up the anticipation for this EP. Already finding themselves locked in cage matches on radio with bands like Ded and Gemini Syndrome, you can tell they have no place to go but up. Vocalist Scott Artis says “We consider ourselves lucky to even be mentioned in the same sentence with bands like that. We are big fans and really look forward to getting out there and playing with them if possible.” Track three entitled “Overcome” comes in as maybe the most melodic yet absolutely slamming musically! The breakdown in the song has a screaming anthem vibe that you can’t help but feel the energy. Followed up by track four entitled “Fake” shows the diversity of the band. The EP truly hits you in all directions and is very well rounded. All the music has that same driving force behind it yet doesn’t come off as stale or redundant. It is most certainly a well crafted EP and gives you just enough of a taste to show you what the band is capable of. After hearing, it will surely leave you excited for what’s to come.
Self Titled EP is currently available for pre-order on all platforms with the official release set for February 16th, 2018. Facing Fire is Scott Artis on Vocals, Tony Phillips on Guitar, Levi Ausmus on Drums, Caleb Miller on Guitar and Josh Quillen on Bass.
