Evanescence frontwoman Amy Lee has joined forced with violinist Lindsey Stirling for a new version of Evanescence’s new single, “Wasted On You,” a song from their forthcoming new album, The Bitter Truth. The performance comes as part of Stirling’s ‘String Sessions’ series on her YouTube channel.

“I’m so lucky to have been able to go on tour with one of my idols, and now she’s my next guest on #StringSessions! @Amy Lee and I perform @Evanescence‘s new song ‘Wasted On You’.” said Stirling in the YouTube caption.

The pair previously toured together, and Stirling has been heard on Evanescence’s album, Synthesis.

After the “Wasted On You” collaborative performance that opens the below video, Stirling talks with Lee about the prank that Evanescence pulled on Stirling while touring together, life events that led the band to choosing their forthcoming new album name and more.
