Ella Langley was forced to abruptly cancel tonight’s concert (Oct. 9) at BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as part of her Dandelion Tour due to a “serious security threat” involving the safety of fans, venue personnel, and the artist.

Just a few hours before the show, BOK Center took to social media to announce the sudden cancellation in an “important show update,” explaining that the decision was made after careful consideration of the potential threat and the safety of everyone involved.

“Due to a serious security threat involving the safety of fans, venue personnel, and the artist, Ella Langley’s scheduled performance tonight at BOK Center in Tulsa has been canceled,” the venue stated. The announcement continued, “The safety and well-being of everyone involved is our absolute priority, and after careful consideration, we have determined that the show cannot proceed.”

BOK Center acknowledged the disappointment the cancellation would bring to concertgoers who had planned to attend the performance and apologized to fans affected by the decision.

“The safety of fans is our foremost concern and will always come first,” the venue added, noting that additional information and details regarding ticket refunds would be shared as soon as possible.

Langley also addressed the cancellation, sharing a graphic of the BOK Center statement as well as her own, expressing her disappointment and apologizing to fans who had made plans to attend the show. According to the “Choosin’ Texas” singer, the decision was made following guidance from local authorities, the venue, and her security team.

“Due to a serious security threat involving the safety of my fans, the venue staff, and my team, the incredibly difficult decision was made to cancel tonight’s show. This decision was made under the advisement of local authorities, the venue, and my security team,” Langley’s statement on social media began. “I know how much time, travel, money, and planning goes into coming to a show, and I can’t tell you how sorry I am. This is not a decision that was made lightly. I was so looking forward to spending tonight with you, but your safety will always mean more to me than anything else. I refuse to put anyone in harm’s way.”

Ella Langley is currently in the midst of her Dandelion Tour, which kicked off on May 7 at Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio and continues through the end of October of 2026. The Dandelion Tour features support from Kameron Marlowe, Dylan Marlowe, Kaitlin Butts, Gabriella Rose, and Laci Kaye Booth on select dates.

The trek comes in support of her latest album, Dandelion, which arrived on April 10 via SAWGOD Records/Columbia. Co-produced by Miranda Lambert and Ben West, Dandelion featured 18 tracks, including the project’s title track, “Be Her,” “Loving Life Again,” “Butterfly Season” and more, as well as the record-breaking, chart-topping hit “Choosin’ Texas.”

Dandelion serves as the follow-up to her debut album, hungover, and marks Langley’s most personal album to date. “This record has so much growth in it. I’ve never poured more of myself into a project, into a song, into an idea, and it’s fallen out so beautifully. It’s about learning by yourself, making mistakes, and realizing that it’s all just part of life,” Langley previously shared in a statement.
