Dylan Scott performed his brand new single “New Truck” with a 7-year-old fan named Darci, on Sunday (July 25) in Williamsburg, Virginia at Busch Gardens as part of their Summer Nights Concert series.

Throughout Scott’s performance, he noticed Darci singing every word to every one of his songs, so before he performed his latest single, he brought the young fan on stage, who was wearing a homemade “I need a ‘New Truck’” shirt.

Upon entering the stage, Scott told Darci to show off her custom attire to the capacity crowd.

“I told you we got a special guest tonight, Miss Darci,” Scott exclaimed. “Darci show that outfit off, her shirt says ‘I need a new truck.’ Want to sing this with me tonight? I saw you singing it [online] and you did real good.”

As a capacity crowd cheered her on, Darci danced along while singing the new song at Scott’s side on stage.

The performance concluded with a big hug and high five, while Scott praised her talents to the crowd, “She’s a star, she’s a star!”

“Darci’s been coming to the shows… You were really young when you started coming and honestly it wasn’t until this past week that I realized you’re a really good singer Darci,” Scott explained to the crowd. “There’s a video, I’m going to post it sometime this week of Darci singing ‘New Truck’ in what looks like her living room and it sounds really good.”

“You just keep doing your thing, you’re only 7 years old, you just keep singing that’s all you got to do,” Scott advised the 7-year-old singer.

“New Truck” was co-written by Hardy, Ashley Gorley, Hunter Phelps and Ben Johnson and is Scott’s latest single.

Darci’s performance with Scott was a full circle moment as the “My Girl” singer was her very first concert at the age of five, according to her mom Bonnie’s social media post.

“This was such a cool night for Darci,” the proud mom captioned the clip. “Her very first concert ever was to see Dylan Scott. Fast forward a few years and tonight she rocked the stage with him. This song was released two days ago!”

Scott previously shared a clip on Instagram of Darci singing during his performance on Luke Bryan’s Proud To Be Right Here tour earlier this month in Virginia.

“Little Darci stole the show in Virginia last night,” the country singer captioned the video.

Additionally, Darci also shared the stage with country superstar Luke Bryan at Jiffy Lube Live in Virginia earlier this month during his Proud To Be Right Here Tour stop. She was invited on stage to perform “Down To One” with the reigning ACM Entertainer Of The Year after Bryan spotted her singing along to his latest single “Waves.”
