Dylan Marlowe is preparing to be a father any day now, and not to one, but two babies with his beautiful wife, Natalie Marlowe. The couple is gearing up to welcome an identical set of twin boys.

During an interview with Music Mayhem backstage at Conservation Aid, Marlowe opened up about how things are going as he gets ready to add two more and round out the family household. He doesn’t hesitate when it comes to talking about the planning process of getting the nursery ready and all of the things that come along with becoming new parents, times two.

“The amount of little gadgets that you don’t realize that are necessary, and just the fact that we buy two of everything because we’re having two — so like two cribs, two [of] everything …,” he shared of the surprises he’s noticed while anticipating his twin boys’ arrival.

Marlowe is in good company, as he joins several country artists who have welcomed babies. In 2025, stars like HARDY, Lauren Alaina, Dan + Shay’s Shay Mooney, and more expanded their families. Marlowe says he has already leaned on his buddies Russell Dickerson — a father of two — and Dylan Scott — a father of three — for parenting advice.

“They’re pretty chill ….They seem to be crushing it,” Marlowe notes of their attitudes of being dads. “Honestly, I mean, the gist of everything is that it’ll all be good? I’ve heard from a lot of people that the first couple of months are pretty tough if you make it, but also pretty some of the sweetest.”

Luckily, he added, “We’re not touring until May, so I’m going to look forward to getting to soak those little memories up.”

Once he hits the road, though, he doesn’t plan on bringing the babies on board just yet.

“I mean, we’re still in one bus, so there’s 12 dudes in there, so it might not be the best scenario for two sleeping babies, but I think Nat will probably fly out with ’em with my mom to a couple,” he said.

Marlowe and his wife revealed the news of their growing family in September 2025, writing via Instagram, “MARLOWE PARTY OF 4 COMING SOON 🤎.” The pair shared a set of photos alongside the caption, revealing sonogram snapshots and Natalie’s growing baby bump.

In October, the couple posted a heartwarming Instagram video to reveal the gender of their twins, including their two pet dogs — Banks, a Boykin Spaniel, and Bailey, a Golden Retriever — in the celebration.

“I was so wrong,” Natalie said in the clip, regarding her prediction of having girls, before adding, “I’m never wearing pink again.”

“Let’s go,” Marlow says in the video, which includes the caption, “MARLOWE TWINS ARE … Thank you, Jesus for little IDENTICAL boys !!!!! 🩵😭 I’m still not over it. #genderreveal. “This is crazy.”

Dylan Marlowe went on to reveal he and his wife’s reaction to finding out that they were expecting identical twin boys.

“I was stoked. Nat was in shock, but I was excited. I mean, we tried for so long to get pregnant and prayed and prayed and prayed, and the Lord gave us a double blessing,” Marlowe recalled of the couple, who struggled with infertility for almost two years before conceiving. “So I’m excited to meet ’em.”

At this point, Marlowe says he and his wife have already chosen names for their little ones on the way, but fans will have to wait until the twins arrive to find out. “I’m not allowed to say ’em,” he shared. “That’s via my wife. I can’t say it.”

Though Marlowe is ‘stoked’ to welcome his two kids into the world, any day now, he says he doesn’t necessarily plan on changing his songwriting process or writing songs solely about fatherhood, unless the moment strikes.

“I don’t want to be the dad guy,” he explained. “I just want to be a good dad to the boys, but I think my music sometimes is my outlet…. I’m sure there’ll be some songs written about ’em just because I can’t help it. But yeah, I mean, I got some exciting stuff to look forward to this year with music.”
