Who Is Hosting?
Twenty-time host and executive producer Ryan Seacrest will lead the special as the show’s host. Seacrest will be welcoming 2024 from Times Square in New York City, joined by pop star Rita Ora.
Dayanara Torres is set to emcee the Spanish segment of the show from Puerto Rico.

The star-studded concert event will feature dozens of performances, taking place in all different parts of the United States, including New York City’s Times Square, Los Angeles and more. Lenny Kravitz, Thomas Rhett, Luis Fonsi, Jonas Brothers, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, TLC, Teddy Swims, Tinashe, ERNEST, HARDY, Cody Johnson, Blake Shelton, Dasha, DJ Cassidy, Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Slick Rick, Doug E. Fresh, Alanis Morissette, Renéé Rapp, Kesha, Laufey, Natasha Bedingfield, T-Pain, Carrie Underwood and more will deliver memorable performances throughout the broadcast.
Megan Moroney will deliver a two song medley from her new album, Am I Okay?, while Alanis Morissette will kick off the 30th anniversary celebration of her iconic and groundbreaking album Jagged Little Pill, one of the best-selling albums in history. Morissette will perform multiple times throughout the evening and will be joined by special guest Renéé Rapp for a rendition of “You Oughta Know.” Jonas Brothers will take to the Rockin’ Eve stage for a special performance after the clock strikes midnight for their first performance of 2025.
Blake Shelton is set to perform a selection of his biggest hits, along with “Texas,” his latest single and first new solo release in two years, live from Las Vegas. Dasha will make her New Year’s Rockin’ Eve debut with a performance of “Austin (Boots Stop Workin’).”
DJ Cassidy will bring his innovative Pass The Mic Live! experience to New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, featuring hip-hop legends Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Slick Rick, and Doug E. Fresh. The quartet recently came together for their groundbreaking Pass The Mic Live! Las Vegas residency, which was inspired by the classic Las Vegas acts like The Rat Pack.
ERNEST will deliver a show-stopping medley that includes his song “Why Dallas” off his current album, Nashville, Tennessee, as well as the GRAMMY-nominated collaboration, “I Had Some Help.” HARDY will also take the stage during the show to perform “PSYCHO” and “TRUCK BED.”
Kesha will deliver a memorable performance marking the 15th anniversary of her iconic hit “TiK ToK,” while also showcasing “JOYRIDE,” her groundbreaking first release as an independent artist this year.
Carrie Underwood will headline the show with a several song performance ahead of the iconic ball drop at midnight. “I have such fun memories of performing on New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in Times Square in both 2007 and 2015, and I’m so excited to perform just before the ball drops again this year,” Underwood shared in a press release. “I’m thrilled to celebrate 20 years since winning American Idol by joining Ryan as he hosts his 20th New Year’s Eve in Times Square.”
