After teaming up on two hit tracks, Colby O’Donis and Akon have joined forces yet again for another banger called “Locked Up With You.” The longtime talented friends have also dropped a music video to go along with their latest buzz-worthy collaboration.
Released under Akon’s newly energized Konvict Kulture label, “Locked Up With You” brings serious momentum for the stars and also gives folks a reason to dance their way into 2026. The song samples the “Smack That” hitmaker’s 2004 breakthrough hit, “Locked Up,” fusing his signature style with O’Donis’ smooth, electrifying voice.
Though Akon’s smash offered a more serious tone, lyrically, “Locked Up With You” features a light-hearted subject content that focuses on a fresh “locked up in love” kind of romance between two individuals, but also celebrates the iconic blend of two major entertainers, who have proven themselves as a commercially successful pairing.

The vibe of the pop/R&B track radiates a carefree energy, ideal for listeners wanting to leave the grind behind and dive into a lively night at the club with their friends. As for the accompanying music video, these two artists star in the clip, bringing the energy of their song to life, with O’Donis riding around with a lover in a Glossy white Tesla Cybertruck before enjoying the breeze over crystal blue waters.
Akon shows up midway through the cinematic visual, presenting himself in a dark room that captures the idea of being behind bars with someone special.
