Fast-rising artist Chase Matthew is preparing to take the stage for his first headlining concert in his hometown of Nashville. His show in Music City will take place in just a few short months in late September.

He has previously performed in music city several times before, including as direct support for Ryan Upchurch, but this will be a whole new ballgame for the “We Had It Good” singer. When asked what fans have to look forward to that night, Matthew explained it’ll be “badass.”

“What I can tell you to expect is two badass nights, huge production, fricking crazy light show. It’s going to be like watching a movie and my town deserves that. My hometown deserves that. My city deserves that. And on a rooftop in Downtown Nashville with incredible views,” he told Music Mayhem

Without giving too much away, Matthew teased that In addition to the “huge production” that is set to take place throughout the exciting show, a few guests could also be joining him on stage.

“I can’t explain how cool it’s going to be really. And I’m not trying to sell it to you. I think it sells itself, man. It’s going to be crazy. We’re bringing out tons of friends. Again, I’m not going to spoil it, but we’re bringing out some cool people, man. And it’s going to be a really good time. A really good time.”

With high expectations of selling out the first night, Matthew is advising fans to “buy your tickets now while you still can.” “They told us if we sell it out, they’re going to give us a second night,” he said with hopefulness.

The young singer broke the news of this milestone show on June 13 via social media. “I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH! Let’s PARTY,” he wrote under the video. The announcement drew in a ton of excitement from friends, fans and even fellow artists like Jelly Roll, who said, “catch me there.”

“Well, that’s cool. Yeah. That’s my dog, man. Cool people, man. I hope he shows up,” Matthew said in response to the singer’s comment.

Chase Matthew Promises He Will Headline Bridgestone Arena By 2024

Once this performance is under his belt, Matthew confidently declared that he will shut down any signs of further doubt by headlining Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena by 2024.

“Well, to me, it’s like I’ve already proved everybody wrong that doubted me. But like now they’ve got new doubts and I’ve got new goals. So it’s like, ‘he’ll never headline the Bridgestone Arena.’ Bro, by 2024, you mark my words. You mark my words. By 2024, I will have a show or at least a date booked of a Chase Matthew headliner at Bridgestone Arena. Hold me to it.”

Matthew hit the ground running on his Born For This Tour earlier this year following the release of his latest album with the same title.

On Friday, September 23, he will make his Nashville headlining debut as part of this tour at the Skydeck on Broadway. The potential to add a second night to the rooftop show will be confirmed if the first round of tickets sell out. Tickets for Chase Matthew’s headlining Nashville concert are on-sale now HERE.

The Born For This Tour currently has dates set through October, when Matthew will close out his time on the road in Sacramento, CA.
