Carrie Underwood kicked off her highly-anticipated Las Vegas residency, REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency, at the brand-new Resorts Theatre on the Vegas strip on Wednesday evening (Dec. 1).

The seven-time GRAMMY Award winner and country music superstar is the first artist to perform on the stage of the 5,000-seat world-class theatre, which is the largest and tallest in Las Vegas.

“It’s such a special honor to be the first artist to perform on this incredible stage in a brand new, beautiful, state-of-the-art theatre at such an exciting new destination as Resorts World Las Vegas,” Underwood previously shared in a press release. “I’m so proud of this show and so happy to finally get to share it with the amazing audiences here in Las Vegas.”

REFLECTION: The Las Vegas residency celebrates Underwood’s career and found Underwood performing some of her greatest hits, including “Cowboy Casanova,” “Dirty Laundry,” “Blown Away,” “Jesus, Take The Wheel,” “Before He Cheats,” “Church Bells,” among many others. See the full set list below.

“The show title refers to the fact that this show will reflect the amazing journey I’ve been on for the past 16 years, as well as a glimpse into what lies ahead,” Underwood shared.

The show, which marks Underwood’s first-ever Las Vegas Residency, featured top-notch production that brought Underwood’s chart-topping hits to life. Her stellar production included special effects, state-of-the-art technology, a waterfall, pyrotechnics, massive video walls, and so much more, making for a visually stunning concert event.

“It’s new and shiny, there’s so much technology,” the three-time ACM Entertainer of the Year shared in a behind-the-scenes clip.

Her high-energy performance, which also featured her band, dancers, aerialists, a virtual orchestra, and a stunning array of one-of-a-kind costumes.

“There’s something glitzy and glamour-ey about women in country music,” Underwood added. “We love our rhinestones, we love our wardrobe changes. We’ve been doing our own version of Vegas in Nashville for generations.”

The show was directed by Barry Lather, with Creative Production & Show design by Nick Whitehouse & Fireplay, and Costume Design/Wardrobe Styling by Emma Trask.

Underwood gave fans a breathtaking finale from a never-before-seen water wall feature, but the biggest highlight of the evening was Underwood’s flawless vocals throughout the duration of the concert.

With stunning visuals, a breathtaking production and Underwood’s powerhouse vocals, REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency is surely a force to be reckoned with.

Due to overwhelming demand, six additional shows have been added for May 2022. The new dates are May 11, 13, 14, 18, 20 and 21.
