Brett Young kicked off the Country Now Live concert series on the Ctrl_Music_ twitch channel on Wednesday, March 17.

Following his 45-minute live performance that included some of his biggest hits such as “Catch,” “In Case You Didn’t Know,” “Mercy” and his current chart-climbing single “Lady,” Young sat down for an exclusive Q&A with Country Now Live host Lauren Black. The singer answered several questions and even revealed his 40th birthday plans.

One twitch user asked Young the question of “what plans do you have for your 40th Birthday?” Which Young shared that his wife Taylor has some plans that she has not yet revealed to him, but he knows that they leave for the trip on Sunday, March 21, which is just two days before his actual birthday and without their daughter.

“My wife won’t tell me. I know that we have a trip that we leave for on Sunday,” Young explained. “and I don’t know where we’re going and I find it ironic that if I were to do that to her, she would be mad at me because she’d be like I have to plan and I have to pack. But if I try to get anything out of her, she’s like ‘hey, stop it, stop ruining it.’ So, I don’t know, I’m told she will help me with the packing, so that I’m not unprepared. Which again, we’ve had wardrobe conversations today, like it’s probably better for me that she packs for me anyways. So, I don’t know, me and my wife are going somewhere without the baby [Presley].”

“A baby moon?” Black asked before Young replied, “A baby moon, 40th birthday combo trip, maybe that’s what it is, I don’t know, again, I don’t know.”

Additionally, Country Now Live will host several upcoming virtual live concerts via Ctrl_Music_ on Twitch including Lady A (March 24), Chris Janson (March 31), Jordan Davis (April 7), Elle King (April 14), Riley Green (April 21) and Lindsay Ell (April 28). Additional artists will be announced in the coming weeks.
