Post Malone and his girlfriend are expecting their first child together.
On Tuesday, May 3, the 26-year-old rapper, whose real name is Austin Post, celebrated the exciting news over the weekend in Southern California, according to a report from TMZ.
The “Circles” hitmaker confirmed the news with PEOPLE saying, “I’m excited for this next chapter in my life, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, and for since I could remember I was sad.”
He continued, “Time to take care of my body and my family and friends, and spread as much love as we can every day.”
Post has not yet revealed who his girlfriend is as she reportedly prefers to stay out of the public spotlight.
Post Malone is also gearing up to welcome a new addition to his musical catalog with the release of his upcoming new album, Twelve Carat Toothache, which will arrive on June 3.
Twelve Carat Toothache serves as the follow-up to his 2019 project, Hollywood’s Bleeding. The album will feature collaborations with some of the biggest names in music right now, including Doja Cat, Roddy Ricch, The Weeknd, The Kid LAROI, among many others.
The chart-topping singer recently shared a sneak peek at his duet with Doja Cat, which is called “Happy,” while on Instagram live.
