Eric Church just revealed plans for a stadium concert in Minneapolis, Minnesota with a few special guests.
The country superstar took to social media on Tuesday afternoon (March 1) to share a photo, which featured himself on stage alongside Morgan Wallen. The snapshot is from the pair’s surprise performance in Philadelphia in October of 2021.
“Hey Morgan Wallen, this was a good time. We should do it again soon,” he captioned the picture.
Wallen was quick to respond to his longtime friend and musical hero in the comments saying, “IN.” The East Tennessee native also shared the photo in his Instagram stories, writing, “I’d personally be just fine with this bub.”
Hours after the photo was shared, in typical Eric Church fashion, the North Carolina native shared the exciting news with his fan club, known as The Church Choir, first.
According to fans a part of the Church Choir, Church will be bringing his electrifying concert, dubbed ‘One Hell Of A Night,’ to U.S. Bank Stadium on Saturday, June 11, and the show will feature chart-topping country hitmaker Morgan Wallen and “Flower Shops” singer ERNEST.
ERNEST further confirmed the news on social media by sharing the advertisement for the show within his Instagram stories.
Tickets for Church, Wallen and ERNEST’s show go on sale March 11 at 10 AM local time via www.EricChurch.com.
Earlier this year, Church revealed plans for his first Stadium show in 2022. Also dubbed “One Hell Of A Night,” the previously announced show, which takes place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 28, features Brothers Osborne and Parker McCollum.
Recently, while Wallen serving as the co-host of Country Countdown USA alongside Lon Helton, Wallen reflected on he and Church’s friendship and how Church went from being his “musical hero” to his “actual friend.”
“We started hanging out then, I don’t know, we just became buddies. I guess we kind of have a similar attitude or whatever it is,” the East Tennessee native explained to Helton. “I know he doesn’t publicly come out and have a lot of buddies and he’s always been my country music hero; he’s one of the main reasons that I sing country music.”
Wallen continued to explain how Church inspired him to launch a career in Country music.
“When I first started getting heavily into country music, it was his songwriting and the way he painted the pictures that made me want to do the same,” Wallen said.
“So it’s really cool to consider him an actual friend now,” Wallen admitted. “I’ve always admired him.”
The “Sand In My Boots” singer also shared that he cannot believe that he was able to share the stage with Church during the Philadelphia date of his sold-out Gather Again Tour.
“It’s unreal to me to think about that 20-year-old kid… being so in tune with what he was doing, so fired up. It’s pretty crazy to think seven years later I’m up there on that same stage with him and getting to share those moments with him. I think he knows, I hope he knows how much that meant to me,” he added.
Church and Wallen are also scheduled to perform as headliners at Faster Horses Festival this summer in Michigan.
