Blake Shelton revealed a brand new Ole Red location!

The country superstar announced the exciting news via an Instagram video on Thursday (Sept. 16). Ole Red will opening a brand new location in early 2022 at the Nashville International Airport, also known as BNA.

“It’s Blake here and I’m very, very excited to announce that Ole Red will be opening a brand new location in early 2022 at the Nashville International Airport,” Shelton said in a clip shared to Instagram.

He concluded the clip with a joke, saying that now that Ole Red is opening in the Nashville airport, it’s “guaranteed some of you people are going to be missing your flights.”

Ole Red also shared the news on Instagram with the same video.

“That’s right, y’all! Ole Red is coming to Nashville International Airport (@flynashville) in early 2022!” Ole Red captioned the video alongside an airplane emoji. “We’ll see ya when you land, or if you just need one more Ole Red fix..which we know you will.”

According to The Tennessean, “the restaurant will occupy between 5,000 and 6,000 square feet in Concourse C, making it one of the largest in-airport restaurants. It will aim to provide a similar food, drink and live music experience as the Ole Red location in downtown Nashville, with a premium placed on sound equipment and musical performers.”

“We sort of see this thing as a bloody great billboard and as a way to get the consumer excited when they arrive and to allow them to reflect on the great time they’ve had when they leave,” said Colin Reed, chairman and CEO of Ryman Hospitality Properties. “We think this can be a memorable experience.”

“Yeah we sell hamburgers, and yeah sell Budweiser, same as everybody else,” Reed added. “The thing that we do differently is we deliver very high-quality, compelling music.”
