Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Travis Tritt and Guy Fieri celebrated NASCAR driver Clint Bowyer’s retirement during a party in Kansas on Sunday (Jan. 10).
The country superstars and celebrity chef were seen celebrating together in a photo shared by Tritt on social media.
“Had a wonderful time hanging out with friends Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, Guy Fieri and Clint Bowyer for Clint’s retirement party in Kansas,” Tritt captioned a photo on Instagram of the superstar friend group.
While many of fans congratulated Bowyer on his retirement from NASCAR, others were speaking out on their maskless gathering amid a global pandemic. Especially noting their lack of masks in the photos shared. However, Tritt didn’t back down and he fought back with the fans who commented on their maskless image via Twitter.
“I love and respect everyone in this photo but I have to say I’m disappointed that no one had a mask on. Please be better,” one fan Tweeted.
NASCAR driver Bowyer shocked fans when he announced his retirement in early October 2020. Bowyer officially retired after a 16 season career in NASCAR Cup Series. In the letter to fans that he shared upon announcing his retirement in October, The 41-year-old driver said that he would be hanging it up at the end of the season.
Shelton publicly congratulated Bowyer on his retirement in October saying: “Hey @clintbowyer… It’s been a hell of a run my brother. Congrats on the Fox deal!!! Here’s to the next chapter!!! Let’s go do some huntin’ and fishin’ now!!!!”

Bowyer has since joined FOX Sports as an analyst for the 2021 season.
“I have a new opportunity to do what’s next in my life,” Bowyer told fans in his retirement letter. “In 2021 my suit will no longer be fireproof. I will be joining the Fox booth on Sundays.”
Bowyer has 10 career Cup wins, with his best season being 2012, when he finished second in the standings. Bowyer has also made the playoffs during his last three seasons.
