Benson Boone – “Beautiful Things”
The fast-rising pop star, who is destined for superstardom, not only dropped the captivating tune but also treated fans to a music video for the track.
Directed by Matt Eastin, the video features Boone and his three-piece band scaling a mountain with their instruments. Upon reaching the mountain’s peak, Boone and his band unleash the full force of the chorus, creating a climactic moment that resonates with the song’s anthemic vibe.
Co-written by Boone alongside Jackson (Jack) Lafrantz Larsen, and Evan Blair – who also produced the track – “Beautiful Things” was released through Night Street Records via Warner Records, the label owned by Imagine Dragons’ frontman Dan Reynolds.
The song, reminiscent of Billie Eilish’s “Happier Than Ever,” starts off with soulful verses and a slow build, leading to an energy-packed chorus that draws listeners in with its electrifying sound and Boone’s raw, distinctive vocals.
On the powerful chorus, Boone sings, “Oh, I hope I don’t lose you/ Please stay/ I want you, I need you, oh, God/ Don’t take/ These beautiful things that I’ve got/ Please stay/ I want you, I need you, oh, God/ Don’t take/ These beautiful things that I’ve got.”
