Bailey Zimmerman, 26, is facing legal trouble in New Mexico after prosecutors reportedly filed felony and misdemeanor charges against the country music star in connection with an alleged incident at Sandia Resort and Casino Hotel that left more than $16,000 in damages. An arrest warrant has also been issued in the state of New Mexico in connection with the case.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, prosecutors in Bernalillo County filed criminal paperwork seeking an arrest warrant for Zimmerman on June 18. He is facing one felony charge of criminal damage to property over $1,000, along with two misdemeanor counts of falsely obtaining services.
The alleged damage to the hotel room reportedly included a TV, telephone, coffee table, and two chairs. Staff also claimed they discovered a hole in one wall, additional damage throughout the room, stains on the carpet, and two missing chairs. In addition, a $400 alcohol charge was allegedly added to the room and left unpaid.

According to an affidavit, resort security told authorities the country star appeared intoxicated throughout the evening and allegedly behaved erratically during soundcheck. Court documents claim Zimmerman stumbled, fell, threw microphones to the ground, tossed cymbals and knocked over part of the drum kit before leaving the stage and returning to the hotel.
The documents also alleges that after returning to his room, Zimmerman caused extensive damage to the hotel room. According to the documents, both resort staff and responding officers attempted to contact Zimmerman and members of his team following the incident but were unsuccessful. Prosecutors later sought an arrest warrant in connection with the case.
At this time, Zimmerman has not publicly addressed the allegations, and it is unclear whether the arrest warrant has been served.

The charges stem from an alleged incident on May 27 at Sandia Resort & Casino in Albuquerque, where Zimmerman had been scheduled to perform at the property’s amphitheater. That night he cancelled his show and issued a statement with fans claiming that he was not feeling well and was forced to cancel that show as well as his concert in Rohnert Park, CA a few days later on May 30.
“Y’all know there’s nothing I love more than getting out on the road and playing these shows for you, so it’s so hard for me to have to say this, but I have to reschedule tonight’s (5/27) and Saturday (5/30) shows. I have not been feeling well and have tried to power through, but I’m not able to give you all the show you deserve,” Zimmerman began. “I hate letting y’all down and was really looking forward to these shows, but I gotta take care of myself so I can get back out there stronger. We will be announcing the rescheduled dates as soon as possible, and all tickets will be honored for the new dates. Love y’all so much, and I appreciate the prayers and understanding, I’ll see you real soon.”
The venue also issued a statement, however, their message stated that all tickets would be refunded with no mention of the show being rescheduled.
“We regret to inform you that Bailey Zimmerman, Different Night Same Rodeo originally scheduled for 5/27/26 has been canceled. Refunds are available at the point of purchase.
