Lauren Alaina and fiancé Cam Arnold are getting ready to tie the knot, but first, they’re celebrating with friends and family. Alaina used Instagram on Sunday to reveal that she and Arnold had a gathering with their loved ones over the weekend, posting a reel of photos of the couple with Alaina’s mom, Kristy Suddeth, her dad, J.J. Suddeth and Arnold’s parents.

Celebrating With The “Last Shower” Before Their Wedding

“Our last shower before the big day,” Alaina wrote over the photos with a white heart emoji and a ring emoji. In the snaps, the singer wore a white sequin dress and her fiancé sported a striped button down and khaki pants as they posed with their family members.

“It’s pretty apPARENT how loved we are. I am so proud that Cameron and I are bringing these families together. We are so blessed,” Alaina captioned the post, adding the hashtags #bridetobe and #almostmarried.

Bridal Flower Shower

In November, the Georgia native gave fans a peek into her “bridal flower shower,” posting video clips from a bridal shower thrown by her friends that featured a table full of food and drinks and a bouquet making station.

“Thank you to all my girls for showering me with so much love yesterday. My heart is so full of love for all of you. I am so blessed,” Alaina wrote, thanking her friends who set up the bash “for throwing the prettiest party to ever be thrown.”

When Did Lauren Alaina Get Engaged To Cam Arnold?

Alaina and Arnold announced their engagement at the Grand Ole Opry in November 2022. “Everybody, this is my fiancé. I told him he had to come out here, and we had to get a picture, so, we’re doing it because this is the circle, and I’m going to hold my hand up and do the thing. Make some noise for my future husband, everybody!”

To Have A Large Wedding

The couple have not shared a wedding date, though it will reportedly be a large celebration.

“He wanted a big wedding and I did not want a big wedding, so we compromised, and we’re having a gigantic wedding,” Alaina previously shared with CMT.

Both Alaina’s family celebration reel and her bridal shower reel were set to her song “Just Wanna Know That You Love Me,” which was released in July on Alaina’s new label home of Big Loud Records. She performed the song on The Bachelorette that month.

New Music, “Just Wanna Know That You Love Me”

“Just Wanna Know That You Love Me” followed Alaina’s EP Unlocked, her first project on Big Loud Records. In a press release announcing the EP, Alain shared that her new songs were “anchored in truth” and found her “digging deeper and stretching further, both musically and personally, than ever before.”

“It’s been 13 years since we first met, and until a couple of years ago, I don’t know that I ever slowed down for more than a day or two at a time,” she shared. “I spent more time with the people that matter most to me – my family, my fiancé, my friends – during that period than I had in years. This music comes from my heart and my hometown. I am who I am because of where and who I come from, and I’m more me today than I’ve ever been. I can’t wait to unlock this next chapter with you.”

Unlocked features the Lainey Wilson duet “Thicc As Thieves” as well as five additional tracks. Announcing the project on social media, Alaina told fans, “I want you to know me.”

“I have a million different nicknames, I’ve worn a lot of different hats, been a lot of things to a lot of people,” she said. “The truth is, I’ve always just been Lauren. A singer, songwriter, author, actress, dancer, sister, fiancée, daughter, friend. I want you to know me. And the truth is, it took me a long time to get to know me too.”
