Alan Jackson Announces Last Call: One More The Road Tour, Promises To Tour “As Long As My Health Allows”

Alan Jackson is hitting the road this summer for his just-announced Last Call: One More The Road Tour.

Country Music Hall of Fame member Alan Jackson just unveiled plans to embark on a 2022 tour, his first tour since revealing his serious medical diagnosis last fall.

Launching June 24 and running through October 8, the Last Call: One More for the Road Tour, produced by Live Nation, will visit 30 cities across the U.S., bringing over 30 years of Jackson’s hits to fans across the nation.

“I’ve always admired my heroes like George Jones, Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn and Charley Pride who just played as much as they wanted to, as long as they could,” Jackson says. “I’ve always thought I’d like to do that, and I’d like to as long as my health will allow,” he notes, adding with a smile, “I’ll try to do as much as I can, but if I’m comin’ your way, come see me….”

The three-time CMA Entertainer Of The Year is expected to perform fan-favorite songs such as “Chattahoochee,” “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere,” “Freight Train,” “Drive (For Daddy Gene)” and more on the trek.

The tour includes stops in some cities the three-time CMA Entertainer of the Year hasn’t visited in years (see full list below).

Jackson will donate $1 for every ticket sold to the CMT Research Foundation. The news comes after the country music icon revealed that he has been living with CMT (Charcot-Marie-Tooth), a chronic inherited neuropathy condition that results in nerve deterioration and hampers muscle function, movement and balance, for years. In addition, $1 will be matched by a generous group of CMTRF donors and board members.
