Adam Levine joked that he doesn’t support Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s marriage.

Following several comments made by Shelton about Levine playing he and Stefani’s wedding, Levine has now responded. During his Thursday (April 29) appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show, Levine joked that he doesn’t support his former fellow The Voice coaches marriage before making a few funny remarks about Shelton and Stefani.

Degeneres asked Levine if he was going to sing at the couple’s wedding before Levine said, “I don’t support their marriage.” Later adding, “She’s [Stefani] so cool and he’s [Shelton] not.”

“But he’s very funny and very smart,” the talk show host added. Levine then chimed in to add, “He’s vaguely charming,” while laughing to himself.

“I missed making so much fun of him,” Levine told Degeneres, referring to how he and Shelton used to joke with each other daily during Levine’s time as a coach on The Voice.

“I’ll go to the wedding and I’ll object, I will probably not be invited now. That I’m saying this on live television. But I’ll be there somehow,” Levine said before Degeneres joked, “I’ll be your date, let’s go together.”

Stefani previously joked that Degeneres could be her maid of honor during her appearance on The Ellen Show.

Additionally, Stefani, Shelton and Levine appeared in a T-Mobile commercial during the 2021 Super Bowl, which you can watch HERE.
