Fans attending the Boots in the Park Festival in Norco, California on Saturday, March 12 were in for quite the surprise when headliner Tim McGraw was joined on-stage by several of his 1883 castmates during his performance of “I Like It, I Love It.”

1883’s LaMonica Garrett, James Landry Hébert, Alex Fine, Amanda Jaros, Emerson Miller were among the cast and crew who joined the country hitmaker on stage, in addition to his castmate, fellow country superstar and wife, Faith Hill, and their youngest daughter, Audrey.

Several members of the cast documented the exciting moment on social media.

“And it was in this moment, that me and my #1883TV castmates felt like rock stars backstage… Got chills watching that @1883official footage on all those screens in front of thousands of screaming fans,” Garrett, the 1883 star who plays the role of Thomas, a Pinkerton Agent, said. ”Just another Saturday for @thetimmcgraw haha 🙌🏾 Thanks for sharing the experience brother… 💪🏾💪🏾”

“Got the band back together last night! Huge thanks @thetimmcgraw @faithhill and the @1883official fans for making us feel like rockstars @bootsinthepark” Hébert, who portrays the role of Wade on the show, wrote.

“This was insane. Thanks to my TV mom and dad @thetimmcgraw @faithhill . You guys have a really cool side hustle. @1883official is an awesome family to be apart of…” Fine, the actor who plays Grady in the record-breaking show, shared. “This is 29. Singing on stage with @thetimmcgraw and @faithhill plus the @1883official cast was such a cool moment. If I had one more beer I was gonna stage dive.”

“Still pinching myself that the @1883official gang got to join @timmcgraw and @faithhill on stage last night for Tim’s @bootsinthepark show. Soooo much fun was had. Hands were clapped. Voices were raised. Boots were stomped. Birthdays were celebrated (🎉 @emersonmiller & @alexfine44). Thanks for the amazing time!!” Jaros, whose 1883 character is Alina, added.

1883 is a 10-episode series that streamed on Paramount+. It’s the prequel to Yellowstone and broke records upon its debut.
